Eric Gilliland Talks About The New Smart Bikes in DC

The nation's first bicycle sharing program is coming to the District in April. I recently spoke with Eric Gilliland, Executive Director of Washington Area Bicyclists Association (WABA) who explained how the program will work and he let me test ride one of the new "d." bikes used in the program.

Anyone who buys a membership can use one of the bikes bike for three hours and then return the bike to any of the new kiosks in the District.

There will soon be a bike kiosk in Shaw at 7th & T Streets NW.
