I will be holding a July ANC2C02 single member district meeting to discuss bringing a farmer's market to Shaw and address neighborhood concerns about pedestrian safety.

Liz Falk, Director, Garden Programs at The 7th Street Garden has agreed to lead a discussion, with a panel of guests who have worked on similar project, about the benefits of farmer's markets and answer questions and concerns.

Christopher Ziemannn, from the Department of Transportation, will discuss Pedestrian safety and plans for adding traffic calming features to our streets such as speed humps and raised crosswalks. Safety on our streets is important to everyone. The District Draft Pedestrian Master Plan report is now ready for public review here. Comments will be accepted through June 20th.
