I'm a frequent visitor to this site, and while not a resident, I live 3 blocks from the ANC border, so do have some vested interest in what's happening there. How can this be considered an agenda? What's the old business to be discussed? The new business to be discussed? How can anyone possibly be prepared for a meeting like this when there's nothing to prepare for? Good luck to those of you working to bring change to your neighborhood. Fiefdoms ruled by fear, intimidation and mis-representation like the one being held onto by certain residents strikes me as something along the lines of a mini-Zimbabwe - not to diminish the tragedy there, but the same schemes, operations and manipulations seem to be alive and well right here in DC.

cant say i blame metropolitan development when bread for the city wants to expand, bring the neighborhood down. who'd want to raise a family, live or invest across the street from that type of social service operation?
