A neighbor and proud “old-timer” Shaw resident just yanked his "two bedroom master suite" rowhouse off the market after seeing comparables for similar homes within a 1 mile of 1400 Fifth Street NW. Surprisingly, it turns out that he may have been grossly under estimating the market.
It's good that developers are planning to add more affordable housing units to the neighborhood for those without such deep pockets.
