East Central Civic Association

[ No public Web site despite owning a formidable computer collection — funded in part by ANC2C and its constituents’ tax dollars and intended for the benefit of the community. The computers — many owned for more than a year — by this organization are supposedly available for public use, but no one outside of the organization's leaders has reported reliable public access to these machines]

One of the oldest neighborhood associations in the District, the ECCA includes the area from N Street up to Rhode Island Avenue and from New Jersey Avenue to 7th Street, NW. Meetings are held on the first Monday of every month (the second Monday if the first is a holiday) at Third Baptist Church, 5th and Q Streets NW, at 7pm.
